Symptom: If I try to change channels while watching TV, the TV app crashes and I drop back to the previous screen -- either the main menu or the EPG depending on how I started the TV show.

Found the previous problem I'd been having with TV crashing as soon as it started. I had set the Audio Renderer to be "Cyberlink Audio Renderer (ATI2) which is apparently a no no.

What capture device are you using?

Can you zip and attach a complete set of logs?

Capture Device is an ATI HDTV Wonder. I can't even believe how responsive you are on these forums Sub. Hope you can figure this one out. While you're at it, take a look at the attached jpg of my guide screen. All the fonts appear to be quite a bit larger than they should be (or at least that I'd like). Does this image appear normal to you or is there some setting I can make to globally reduce font sizes?

No, its not normal. I think you've got windows configured to use large fonts, or a non-standard DPI.

Can you try using the Cyberlink mux instead to see if it helps the channel change problem? I recommend downloading and trying v5.0.1307. If you use the forum search for "v5.0.1307", you should find a download link.

Or alternatively enable "live preview mode"? Actually do this one first...

No problem when "live preview mode" is enabled.

With live preview disabled, all muxes fail including the cyberlink, MS, and transport stream ones.

And yes, I forgot that before this computer became my home theater PC, it was my wife's computer and I had it on large fonts for her.

Any update on the failure to change channels Sub? Saying I can change channels, but only if I'm not recording or timeshifting is certainly limiting. Is there some additional data that would be helpful or some test that I might run?

Did you try the Cyberlink mux? It'll probably work with that.
