Hi all, first time poster, long time reader. I recently got my PVR setup and am trying to get comskip/clean working. Comskip seems to be working as I have all the txt files etc, but comclean doesnt seem to have run.

Now what I did was DL and unzipped both comskip and comclean into my gbpvr directory. I have even run them manually, and the same result happens. Comskip seems to run and mark the spots, renames the original file as xxxx_original.mpg, but doesnt seem to leave a modified file.

Any help would be appreciated.

More details are needed please. What version of comclean are you running? Have you created a postprocessing.bat file? If so, what does it look like.

Did you read the PP.bat?

It says

Code:
Rem Once the commercials have been identified you can run comclean to delete the commercials from the recording.
Rem Do this only when you are not using the Skip function in the GBPVR viewer.
Rem To enable comclean remove the word "Rem" from the following line.
rem call comclean %1
:eof

Did you remove the word "rem" before "call comclean %1"?

Yes I did. However I unchecked both references to comskip in the gbpvr config and now it runs the pp.bat just fine.

OK now my question is how can I get rid of the old .log and .txt files as well as the original mpg after the postprocessing is complete. I tried to stick the lines in several places in the bat file and cannot seem to get it just right.

Right after comclean runs.
Code:
DEL "%~dpn1.log"
DEL "%~dpn1.txt"
DEL "%~dpn1_original.mpg"

If recording multiple shows, especially if back to back, run the whole thing in parallelprocessing.bat instead. Everything should work in sequence then.

Another question is how to get GBPVR to delete the _original file when you delete the show. it deletes all the other files.
