Music Player Problem

The above plugin crashes on my machine when playing a .wpl playlist generated from WMP10. It is OK on MVP. though. The error is "Error: Exception Result" plus, probably, an addr. It gets overlaid too quickly to read the last bit. The overlay is a black rectangle with the wmp mini control panel at the bottom.

It works fine on my mate's machine with a new install so it must be something peculiar to my setup. Perhaps someone may have fixed a similar problem??

Can you post the .wpl file so I can see if I can reproduce the bug? Also, have you tried the updated version posted at http://forums.gbpvr.com/attachment.php?a...1144972652

Thanks for the reply, Jeff. Just tried the updated version with exactly the same result. I have attached one of the wpl's but won't you have trouble trying it because you won't have the tracks on your disk?

There's obviously some combination of files/factors on my particular setup that glitches your good work (thanks, BTW!).

I just installed the program and everything seems to work on my Hauppauge 350 but the music portion gives me the same result.

I am connected to a mapped network drive but it is persistent on the system and the file is a non-protected mp3 file.

I have un-installed and am not going to reinstall. I tried Sage TV (pretty good) and Beyond TV (very good but only TV support) and now am going back to GBPVR.

I will let you know if the problem persists after the reinstall.

This thread is a bit dead but does not contain any answers. Hopefully I can shed some light on it.
I have just tried this player after a fresh install and I get the same error when i try and play a .wpl or wpl or.m3u or m3u play list (all combinations for people searching .

When I press enter (on the computer only. I have not got the MVP yet) it throws up an error message then overlays windows media player 10! I did not know it was meant to do that? Anyway I have also tried to disassoicate WMP10 with these file but it still launches and covers the error message.

By loading it 100 times in a row (almost) I was able to see the error message.

Error: Exception from HRESULT 0xc00d132b and then I have to crash out of it.

Has everyone elose got this working now and i am the only one who cant get wpl or m3u play lists to work?

As a bit of a side not by adding asx to the config file for the plug in "Music File Extrensions" i was able to get asx ( .asx) files to work but they dont show any details of the play list. The field reads like this - mp3|wma|m3u|wpl|asx

Are any of the developers around or anyone who can shed some light on the problem or anyone who can give me a better solution?
