Noticed that all my TV channel listings were blank, so I tried to update via Zap2it. Above is error message I get trying to update channels. I was going back up the gbpvr.mdb file and re-install when I noticed its 1.99 gig big. This seems unusual to me. Any thoughts?

Thanks

OK a tad embarrassed. I googled for subject but somehow missed the post just a few below mine with same subject. Anyway tried suggestion of clicking OK (started over several times). Still no fix.

How big is the gbpvr.mdb. Is it still big, or is now small but still has the problem?

If its still big, then something must have been holding onto a database connection, which would stop the database compaction from occurring. Stop all GB-PVR software and any GB-PVR utilities you might be running and try again.

Alternatively, try running the jetcomp.exe utility to manually compact the database.

Stopping all services allowed me to update EPG, but gbpvr.mdb was still 1.99 gig afterwards. Jetcomp fixed it, reducing it down to a few megs.

Thanks
