Hi,

I have installed GB-PVR and true to everything I have read everything was nice and easy and just worked ... however there was one exception. I have been unable to actually tune in any tv stations, I have a listing of all the frequencies, but nowhere to enter them.

The tuning assistant has picked up a few, but not in the right place, and not all of them.

I am in NZ, just using free to air tv signals (TV1=45Mhz, TV2=62Mhz, TV3=217Mhz, C4=196Mhz, Prime=783Mhz, Trackside=751Mhz, Maori=655Mhz)

Can anyone point me in the right direction so that I can actually get the info to GB-PVR.

Thanks
Ryan

The Wiki is a good place to start looking for info.

The page on setting up channels is here:
Channel Mappings.

If you use the tuning assistant, and scan using NZ/Cable, it'll scan a much wider range of frequencies and find all the channels for you. Use these same settings on your capture source.

if you go to http://www.lincrad.co.nz/transmitters.htm you should be able to find the closest transmitter to you - then when you have that transmitter - take a note of the trasmit channel number - this is what you can use to tune in GBPVR - thats all i used and got all the channels you listed.

cheers

As expected, the problem was me missing something simple. All channels are now in and everything is working fine.

Thanks for the quick replies.
