HELP! crashes on live tv after upgrade to 97

I click live tv and the screen goes black. Then the audio kicks in but the video never starts. Then it wants to send an error report to MS.

What other log info/files do you need?

Any suggestions would be great.

I was having those problems too--do you have the plugins enabled by any chance? the 'older' va panel plugin was causing that for me.

reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log and gbpvr.exe.log and I'll take a look.

I have AMD athlon 1.2 ghz with Saphire Theatrix (ATI Theater 550 pro based) PCI card. 768 ram, win xp pro sp2

Downloaded sage tv demo and works fine, ie software config problem.

Requested log files are attached.

What video decoder do you have selected in playback tab of the config app?

What deinterlacing do you have set on the misc tab?

tried chaning video decoder to cyberlink video /sp and deinterlacing to encoder pass thru and it still crashes

Also, it is set to "overlay manager"

Reproduce the problem Cyberlink decoder and repost the logs

That log looks much healther, but I'm not sure what the ffdshow decoder is doing in there. You may want to try disabling it:
