FM Radio Serendipity

I'd like to be able to record FM Radio with GB-PVR.

I've been having some problems with my recent versions and FM Radio, which I seem to have sorted. However during my problems I found that I was hearing the FM Radio sound while going through the TV Channels. I didn't check, but I'm guessing I could have recorded it too.

If I can do this, does this mean that Sub or someone on this forum should be able to enable FM Radio recording with GB-PVR?

You'll notice that when you listed to either FM Radio or Net Radio, the audio is being cached to disk to enable the "Live Radio" functionality. It wouldn't be a stretch to assume that a recording service could be enabled for this as well, although without a Guide for radio available, it would most likely just be a "Quick Record" - ie: start recording now for X minutes.

If the source code is available for the FM Radio stuff, I'm sure someone could take a look at it.

For netradio I know it produces a mp3-file in your recordingdir. For Fm radio I don't know, I doubt it because it is a hardware device thingy. Sorry couldnt find the right words to exlpain what I meant exactly.:o
