I have been using GBPVR for a month now and I like it a lot. First I used v0.96.12 with two Twinhan DTV TV cards but had some problems with the TV picture. Then I installed v0.97.7 but there was no change. I then decided to try with another TV card (Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT) but now all I get is "No channels found. Please check your signal and configuration settings."

The signal strength is very good so thats not the problem.

When using Mediaportal the channels can be found. But I prefer using GBPVR.

Does anyone have any ideas what to do about it?

Edit: I have now tried with a fresh install of both v0.96.12 and v0.97.7 and I still can't find any channels. So it has nothing to do with the new version. The TV card is shown under "Device type" as "TerraTec Cinergy 2400i DT #1 DVB-T" if I click "Only show devices detected in this machine". I have also tried the latest drivers from Terratecs homepage.

You could try running the ReRegisterFilters.bat file. It might help.

I have tried that without success. I have also tried <BDAScanType>2</BDAScanType> with the same result. Do you have any other idea?

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your logs and I'll see if I can see anything obvious.

It may be related to the issue discussed here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...hlight=166

Hi Lotsipxes

I'm using the same card and I'm not having any problems with it finding channels. I created the original entries in BDA.INI for this card. I had to use the graph edit tool to find the correct FILTER_TUNER and FILTER_CAPTURE values. Could these values have changed in the latest drivers ?

My card came without drivers or software so I downloaded them from the terratec.com web site. I'm using driver version 1.0.3.243, but the latest are 1.0.3.255 beta. What version are you using ?

I've never had their PVR software installed, so could it be the other s/w is interfering with GBPVR's channel scan. Have you tried uninstalling it ?

I'm not sure if I'm using Graphedit correct but everything seems to be correct except from "Cinergy 2400i DT Tuner 1" which only has Input0 but no output (Should "MPEG2 Transport" be a output?).

My card came with driver version 1.0.3.243 so I have tried both that version and 1.0.3.255.

I have the MCE edition so I haven't got any software from them.

I will look into Subs suggestion later today.

It doesn't seam to be a offset problem (like in this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...hlight=166)

Get All Media (PVR software) finds for example our Swedish Channel 4 at 722000 Hz and in GBPVR's 0142.ini it says 32=C52,722000,0,0,8 so that seems to be correct.

I don't know what the 0,0,8 means but in Get All Media it has some extra information, Transport ID: 1022 and Service ID: 1040. I don't know if it's relevant.

I guess its not the driver then.

I'm not an expert on Graphedit. I made a copies of the [TerraTec Cinergy 1200 DVB-T] section in BDA.INI and then modified the FILTER_TUNER and FILTER_CAPTURE values from the entries in Graphedit Graph / Insert Filter menu option under 'BDA Receiver Component' and 'BDA Rendering Filters'. It was just sort of trial and error. I never actually created a working graph in graphedit - I didn't know what I was doing!

I've just checked Device Manager and I have three entries under 'Sound, video and game controllers' :

Cinergy 2400i DT Bridge
Cinergy 2400i DT Capture
Cinergy 2400i DT Tuner

There are no extra configuration options under any of them.

In GBPVR config I have both tuners configured as :

Recording Source : BDA Recording Plugin

Device Type : TerraTec Cinergy 2400i DT #1 DVB-T (or TerraTec Cinergy 2400i DT #2 DVB-T)
Device Number : 1 (Note this is 1 for both devices, and works ok)
Country : All regions
Region / Transmitter : All Channels

I don't think there was anything else I had to do.

Hi tekNerd

There's was (still is?) a problem with later versions of the Pinnacle drivers. which stopped it scanning channels.

Please see these threads for more details :

Problem GB-PVR version 95.16 and Pinnacle 300i
pinnacle pctv 300i
PC reboots when trying to retune Pinnacle PCTV 300i DVB
