DVD Audio is not loud

I have Cyberlink as my DVD player. When I run a DVD under Cyberlink, it sounds great! When I run it through GBPVR (and I've selected Cyberlink as Video, Audio Decoder, and Audio Renderer), it's like at 50% of the audio level. Why the disparity between the two? Anyone know how to fix it?

I have seen the same problem with both PowerDVD and WinDVD compared to GBPVR. Don't have a real solution.

do you recommend a different dvd decoder?

Like I said - I don't have a solution.
I usually just go into ffdshow, add a volume filter for the center speaker, at 200%.

This might indicate the problem, though - it's as if when the decoder is run by GBPVR it thinks it is in 5.1 mode, while my system only has 2 speakers for now and is set up as such.

I don't know. What speaker set do you have?
