.pdb files in c# express 2005?

anyone know how to get c# express 2005 to create a .pdb file when you compile a dll?

im using the same project i used in 2003 (which made the file), but 2005 express isnt.

its a handy file to have when debugging....

found it.

under "Project" then "{ProjectName} Properties", then "Build", "Advanced"
"Output\Debug Info" set to "pdb-only"

just incase anyone else is interested.

and if nobody knows what a pdb file is (took me a while before i discovered the wonder that they are), you can copy it over to other machines, and if it crashes the pdb file will tell you the exact line of the crash (now thats handy), just put it in the "plugins" dir along with the dll.

Thanks reven. I'm still using 2003 as the stuff I do doesn't need any of the .NET 2.0 stuff. I discovered what the PDB file was useful for a while back - it can really save time when debugging. When I go over to VS 2005 I'll make sure I enable that option.
