USB-UIRT and Sky UK

Hi,

First of all thanks to Sub for this brilliant applicaton.

I have got everything working now apart from the channel changer to work with my Sky settop box. I was looking to see if anyone who successfully has set it up with Sky could give me some hints on the settings.

I have chosen the USB-UIRT plug-in in my capture source, and tried various combinations of the settings.  The UIRT does seem to be sending instructions (red lamp blinks), but the channel doesn't change.  What settings do you use, and is there any more software I have to install apart from the USB-UIRT driver?

For info, I use a Hauppauge PVR-350 to capture, a Radeon 4200 to output to TV, and the recording source is set up as Composite 2, External tuner.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi Siggi,

Does Sky detect any digits when GBPVR tries to change the channel? i.e. can you see any digits appearing when watching sky? Did you teach the USBUIRT the IR signals (0-9) using your sky remote when creating a new device profile under the USB-UIRT Channel Changing Config within GBPVR.

Other than that, it should just work.

If you have trouble teaching GB-PVR the sky IR codes, I'll send you my device file (I assume all UK Sky boxes use the same IR codes irrespective of make). If that works I'll send the file to Sub so it can just be selected in future from the list.
