If I go back to 96.12 will it be able to use the converted database?

No.

If you still have your old DB and config.xml files then you can copy those in to a new installation of the previous version (you did keep a backup right?).

Any info on recordings made since the conversion will be lost though. You could try an export of the recordings from the Config app. then uninstall the current version, re-install the older version then do an import of the recordings (after you copy the old DB into place).

Cheers,
Brian

Actually, yes I did... I made several copies that night. But I am not sure which one is before the update Sad How would I be able to tell by looking at the table structure (yes I know about the modify time on the properies... but I know I have been in those databases since then).

Thanks,

Matt

I might be completely wrong, but I think one of the changes in the new db was adding something like the "favourite channel".
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

It also add delete trigger that will cause problems in the v0.96 version.

Thanks guys, I found the DB. Nothing personal Sub, just my MVP's don't work with the new version after many hours of fighting. I can only get my Rev D1 to work reliably. I could not get the suggestions in the MVP section to work.

I do like the changes to the lists you made (that it stays where it was after a deletion).

Thanks again,

Matt
