I'm pondering how to utilise my GBPVR media box to view photos edited with Picasa, without having to manually create a slideshow (or web gallery) for each new set of updated photos.
[If you aren't familiar with Picasa, it saves edits to a file 'picasa.ini' in each relevant directory; no modification is made to the image file itself].
I've discovered that Picasa has a built in webserver - this is available only to the local host http://groups.google.com/group/picasa/br...dba8434326
but that's fine for me as my photos are stored on the mediabox.
I feel sure it must be possible to usilise this, though I haven't figured out how!
In an ideal world, though, I love the idea of a GBPVR plug-in which can read Picasa.ini files and display (slideshow style) a random selection of photos located in my designated Photos directory (while Music Player jukeboxes its way through my CD collection...)
