Its not something I've tried. I dont expect there would be anything much stopping things from working on vista, but I will try some time before vista is formally released.

GBPVR itself installed and ran fine, but the recording service threw up errors with .NET 1.1.

Havent tried the new version as i dont have .Net 2.0 yet but will let you know what it does when i get it.

I found Media Center worked but its absolute garbage. There was no option for setting up a remote control and the interface is cluttered and way behind GBPVR in ease of install and operation.

My USB-UIRT drivers installed ok, but with Vista Beta 2 you have to be patient and if they dont install the first time, Vista picks them up again and installs them fine.

I have not tried gbpvr in vista, but the MCE in Vista Beta 2 works fine for me with the exception of quite a few bugs. I'll give it a try this weekend and see if gbpvr works on it for me.

I've not had any luck with GBPVR in Vista and I'm not too impressed with MCE. If I ever upgrade to Vista, it'll have to be after GBPVR works with it. I can't even figure out how to install with XP compatibilty in a 64 bit system.
MCE has slow channel changes, sound problems and is still buggy in the builds I've tested.

Very interesting info:

Windows XP Pro and GBPVR
Windows XP Pro X64-bit and GBPVR
Windows XP Media Center Edition and GBPVR
Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition and GBPVR

Windows XP Media Center Edition and GBPVR so far exceeds the rest.
MCE is just like running Windows Server 2003 STD well to me it is.
Using it as a print server also show the same info when you print using a W3K Print Server. I need to what was printed and did it print on the network MCE running on another PC works great for that purpose. The memory mangement is much better than it is in Windows XP Pro.

I've tested the MCE for TV and PVR-150 without GBPVR and it works very good. I can't do much with it unless I go out and purchase MCE Expanders for it for TV hookup.

To fix the problems you have with MCE I had to use Intervideo WinDVD Platinum 7.x. Once that was installed all the hardware worked even with a Geforce4 MX 4000 128MB DDR AGP 8x and onboard sound 6.1 chipset. I was supprised.
