Hauppauge's server and gbmvp.bin

Will the gbmvp.bin work with the Hauppauge servers and others similar, or will it only work with GBPVR?

It probably wont work. Some of the communication messages are slightly different.

Ok. If it did, I was hoping to request a new feature. The ability to choose server on startup of the MVP.

If you want to use the Hauppauge server, just use the Hauppauge dongle.

Sub - just a quick note - I've found gbmvp.bin a lot more reliable how ever on your next version is it possible to remove the MVP floating screen saver ?

ggee - Not sure why you'd want to use the Happauge back end... I played with that interface for a while but have truley found the GBPVR version far better - the only major pain at the mo ( only cos the other half is not used to it ) is the next and prev track with out a play list.... no biggy and I'm pretty sure there is a good plug in out there some where... its just tiem to go over the forum.

Agree... but wha I was saying is can you get rid of it ?

I did how ever find this thread where others where asking the same.....
