Version 0.22.7 missing a lot of recordings

I don't know what happened but since I've upgraded to version 0.22.7, it's been missing a ton of my season records. This is NOT due to a problem with conflicts. I just went in and manually added about 6 showings of a program that's on my season record list that GB-PVR would not have recorded unless I told it to. Anybody else have this issue, or know if a fix is coming (hopefully very very very soon??). This is driving me nuts having to constantly check to make sure my programs are being recorded.

I wasn't aware of an issue, so no - there is no fix pending.

Is it possible zap2it have changed the name slightly? an extra space, a change of capitalization? These would cause the show not to be picked up.

Hi,

what occured in my case was: I programmed a new show that was in conflict with a recurring recording. I cancelled that occurence of the recurring recording. Then other occurences of the same show had disappeared too. After updating the epg everything worked out fine.

Could that be similar to you problem?

Like I said none of the ones I added manually were conflicting, I use zap2it and there have been no name or case changes to the programs. It will record some of what i tell it to on season record, but not all.

Maybe my posting wasn't clear (probably because I assumed that the problem was due to scheduling conflicts), but some of my reoccurring programs do indeed miss a lot of episodes. My daily reoccurring program specifically almost never records.

Your post looks clear to me, and the same bug I'm having. Anyone have the last version of GB-PVR handy (or a link) so I can attempt to roll back? I'm sick of v22, it's just too annoying and buggy, sorry.

You'll need to fully uninstall GB-PVR and delete the GB-PVR directory if you need to backwards a version. Nothing was changed in the season recording code in the last two releases, so I would be surprised if it would help.

I've been using your mdb file (and zap2it configuration), to try and reproduce the error. I've been focusing on South Park, but haven't been about to find any error yet. That said, I believe you and have added a lot of diagnostic messages to the season recording detection. In the next release, if you find its not correctly scheduling some of these season recordings, just click the 'Update EPG' button in the config app. It'll refresh the EPG, then provide dump to the log a some valuable information about the season show detection.
