I don't know if this been posted before but Theres this option that allows me to "Record Season" But I got a problem I want to cancel all future season recordings.
For example I decided to record all the Becker Episodes on a few channels Because I never seen this shows before.
Well That was a few months ago and now I've pretty much seen them all and I want to cancel all Future recordings. But all I can do is cancel each episode individually. Its kind of hard to do that when you record 2-4 episodes a day, every day of the week.

Another problem I have is I want to modify future recordings like time slot selection and padding or fix the type of recording I want.
AGAIN I have to modify each episode individually. Kind of sucks that you just want it to do it automatically. But it can't because its only going on what was set at the beginning.

Finally I need a some sort of database to stop recording reoccuring shows when I select "Record Season (All episodes on this channel)"
Eithers its a bug or what not I tried to record "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and just select that option. So It record fine but the next day it record the same episode again and on saturday it record IT again. Now I have 3 copies or more depending when it reoccures. Easily deleted but annoying if you don't know about it and takes up space on the disk. OR it cancels out another recording of a show that you really wanted to see.

Just something that annoys me and I don't know how to cancel a whole season. Or if the option doesn't exist.

I'm using v0.96.12 of GB-Pvr
If this has been implemented in a new version then please disregard this.

If you go to the Recordings screen, click 'reoccuring', then cancel the season recording, it'll automatically cancel every episode scheduled.

Again, go to the Recordings screen, click 'reoccuring', then 'update' the season recording to change padding etc. It wont effect those that have already shown up as pending recordings, but it will effect any new episodes scheduled.

This depends where you are. If you're in the US, then you can enable the 'dont record duplicates' option. If you're outside of the US, then GB-PVR has no way to know that two episode are the same, so it treats them all as new. You can minimise the problem using some of the other recording types that are available to use (for example, 'weekly timeslot' etc).

Well........ This was kind of pointless then. Wiki guide didn't explain how to do this so I figure it wasn't implemented. But thanks Sub for explaining that.
I just figure that "Reoccuring" was to tell you what was reoccuring and not being recorded.

This depends where you are. If you're in the US, then you can enable the 'dont record duplicates' option. If you're outside of the US, then GB-PVR has no way to know that two episode are the same, so it treats them all as new. You can minimise the problem using some of the other recording types that are available to use (for example, 'weekly timeslot' etc).

I just check the config it was enable all along. I live in the U.S and I'm using Zap2it EPG.

It can depend on the program. Sometimes zap2it dont supply identifiers for the show, in which case they're treated as new episodes.
