Sqlite+Blueskin=error in ML2

Hi

I have installed the 3.8 of ML2 on 97.9 of GBPVR, and everthing works fine if i am using the BlueMC2-skin, but if i go to the standard Blue-skin, i get an error(something about get_Tracknum()). I have to use the Blue-skin while i am testing revens RC1 of MyVideo 5 :-)

hmmm, for a test, could you remove revens musicpanel, I think he uses a different version of the MP3 tag reader. If fact yes, this is where I've seen this before:

Do you think i should try to uninstall the MyVideo5? I don't have any musicpanel installed...

you could, but if you just remove the myvideos5.dll from the plugin directory (just put it in a subdirectory of plugins).

Psycik, you are absolutely correct!! Everything(ML2) is working now with blue skin. What do i have to do about it? Maybe i should tell Reven that there is a problem here?

in the my videos 5 rc1 release i upgraded to the latest ultraid3lib.dll.

Acutally I'm thinking about dropping ultraid3lib from ML2 - I don't like having dependancies that can be affected by others (or two people using different versions) like we just had then.

Know of any code based libraries reven?? That I could (or we could both) import input our projects?

there are some examples of codeproject, jeff pointed out one to me before, but that one you had to iterate through every attribute manually (no get/set methods).

im sticking with ultraid3lib.dll since it allows me to set id3 tags which i need to do when ripping audio cds.

What do you need to get? I pull a bunch of stuff from mp3 files in the Music Player plug-in using examples I;ve found from various sources. Most recently I am using the funcitons built into Windows to extract the info. I can extract the code and send it to you if you'd like.

yeah, I've been toying with that as well actually, have some methods for using WindowMediaPlayer class - doesn;t seem to have too much overhead.
