I have two different problems I think. First off I have a Gemstar 56" DLP widescreen TV. I'm using the DVI input from my pc to the TV. I have an ATI express 200 onboard video setup. If I leave the resolution set to 1024x768 it does not flicker but when I bump it up to 1280x720 it will have an occasional flicker. Any ideas what could be causing this?

The second problem is with my TV display using only the middle portion of the screen for live TV with GBPVR running. It shows my desktop etc full screen. I'm running the haupauge pvr150mce with Svideo from my dishnetwork 501. It was showing full screen fine with the RGB input but the quality wasn't perfect so I tried for the DVI cable but no more full screen now. I checked all the settings on my video card and TV but found nothing obvious. Thanks in advance for your help.

In the config for GB-PVR the main screen is where you can set 4:3 or 16:9. See if that works for you.

Already checked that. It has something to do with the resolution setting on my htpc. I lowered it to 1024x768 and it fills the enitre screen. Doesn't make any sense to me.

That is weird... I know there is a spot in the config.xml that you can set cooridanates (sp?) for the "corners" of your display. This is something that I need to do, but haven't yet done yet.

I'm sure if you do a few searches here on the forums you will find it. If not, maybe sub can let you know where to look in the config.xml.
Good luck!

Try setting your video card res to a 16x9 resolution. 1280x1024 is a 4x3 size. Try 1280x720 if you have it.
