I can't control the position of the buttons even with this xml code:
Code:
    <ButtonLocationElement loc="35,70" size="130,20"/>

Can anyone help me with this problem?

I think there is a way around this? Look at my H-MVP skin theme for the answer.

I have been working on development duties with the theater plugin, but unfortunately I have not had any time recently to work on it due to being very busy at work and also recently getting married (wife doesn't like me sitting on the computer all night hehe). Fatman has already expressed his desire to have the plugin more skinnable, so I will have to look into that for everyone.

Old dog, to get around the special element, you cheat on the buttons (not using what is in baseskin.xml if you are doing that.)

Make your button composite images something like 10 pixels taller, then position the image and text 10 pixels lower in that composite image.

Other things to look out for.
The popup billboard image is hard-coded.
Like x-record there is a semi-transparent popup.

I notice the c# code is posted on the wiki. Is that code up to date?

For the plugin itself, yes. For the gettheaterlistings.exe no, I am still cleaning some stuff up in there before I post it, but I will get to that this weekend. I haven't touched the source for the plugin dll other than to convert it to VS2005 on my box, and thats it.

Did you make a change to the source? Just wondering so I can download the changes and merge them with some of the new things I want to work on.

Brian,

I added one statement to the program. Actually, I didn't really need to do that, but we'll discuss it when you have had a look.

Best Regards,

Thanks Old Dog.

Brian_W or anyone else,

The popup tranparency is something I wish would go away.
The bilboard image I would like to be part of the popup composite image that can be moved and resized. (I cannot remember, but maybe everything in the popup is hardcoded)

I would like this to be positioned in the skin.xml file (key= is from my skin, ignore that)
Quote:<TextElement name="ReadyCantActivate" key=" You have no shows listed, Refresh" />

Right now it is fixed in both directions. I added alot of spaces to position the text where I wanted.

Small laundry list..Big Grin

I wish I had taken better notes on skinning trouble.
