My scheduled recordings are not being saved. I see in a sticky that it's probably related to .Net, which I am currently repairing, but I do not know which logs to include in this post. Only the ones for today? The one where I saw the Object Reference error? Everyhing?

*confusion*

Thank you. ^^

the log files from when the problem occured.

delete all the .log files

reproduce the problem

upload all the log files (zipped together) as described here

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=16767

what tv tuner are you using?

did you follow the setup guide on the wiki?

OK, I deleted all of my log files (had to kill some processes to get them to let go). Then I tried doing a manual record of PBS, staring in the past. It showed up as "recording". No video file was created in the Manual Recordings folder. I zipped up all the new .log files and just attached them to the first post.

I am using a Hauppauge WinTV PVR something or other 250, but GBPVR insists that's it's a 150. I already tossed the box months ago, I can't be more specific than that off the topof my head.

I followed the setup guide on the wiki, bt that was months ago. I forgot to mention that I had this program working before, recording my shows, and it stopped at some point in the past (and I have no idea why).

Thanks muchly for any help you can give. ^^

from one of the logs you get

20:57:37.625 VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: GB-PVR Writer
20:57:37.625 ERROR Failed to find Writer filter

searching forum for "Failed to find Writer filter" reveals a thread titled "ERROR Failed to find Writer filter"

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ter+filter

recommended solution was to trying running the ReRegisterFilters.bat file in the gbpvr folder.

however the entry in the log

20:57:37.343 VERBOSE Capture Device is based on BlackBird architecture

indicates that your capture source is configured as a PVR150 or PVR500. If you believe that you have a 250, then this is your problem.

I ran ReRegisterFilters.bat just for giggles, it did not help the issue.

As far as the PVR150 thing, it was set at PVR150 before and was able to record... so I'm a bit confused. I just double-checked the setup, and I am able to watch live TV with it set as PVR150... it only chokes on record.

Setting it as PVR250 doesn't even allow me to do that. :/

Run:

Regsvr32 "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\GBPVRWriter.ax"

If its still not working, zip and attach the logs again.

Success! After registering that .ax file, I was able to do a manual recording. I haven't tried a shceduled one yet, but I imagine it will work.

Thank you, sir!

Sub,
this fixed my issues as well. I've had the same error when trying to playback Divx files in Video Library.

I'm having the "object reference not set.." error whenever I press the LiveTV button. I've read through all the links I can find with this error but non seem to work.
I'm using a PVR 350 with gbpvr release 97.13.
I've also attached my log files. Anyhelp would be welcome.

Looks like you've got your PVR350 configured as a PVR150.
