I am still running the access database in the latest gb-pvr version (conversion doesn't seem to work for me), and when I install the latest MusicLibrary2 plugin, everything seems fine until I go to scan for music files, at which point I get an error window popping up and stating that it has "Failed to convert parameter value from a String to a DateTime"
Code:
************** Exception Text **************

and I have to cancel out of the scan. I have downloaded the latest access musiclibrary database from the wiki, so is there something else I should do?

I have attached the config log, but it isn't very useful - basically cuts off when it starts scanning.

Hmm, you're in the US tieke??

Could you try tunring om the "insanely stupid amount of logging". probably need to ok the config, then start it back up and run the scan. It should show me the queries that it's trying to perform.

If you're in the us I'm guessing its do do with date processing, or just something I haven't properly tested in access.

Actually I'm in NZ, but I suspect the problem was with the database - I have wiped my GB-PVR install and started again from scratch, and with the SQL database, I didn't have any problems. (I did try the extreme logging option, but all it showed was that it was scanning all the directories correctly, but as soon as it started scanning the first ID3 tag it would crash - I tried moving directories so it started with different files, but it made no difference).

Anyway - everything is working, so thanks again for the plugin!

cheers,

yeah some of the Mps tags it doesn't like, but it should handle those then give them to media player to read.

I'll have to look at the access version...
