Has anyone had recordings stop prematurely? I have version 96.12. This just started happening to me, twice on Friday night with Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, and tonight on Eureka. I will attach the logs. Will upgrading to the latest version help possibly?

Thanks
SirJYK

You'd need to post the recording service logs (incl native ones). These are missing from the logs you posted.

Sub,
I am sorry about that. I had the view set to icons so the text I saw was limited and I cut it off at the first ".exe" portion of the files. I now know better.
Thanks,
Jullian

Ok, got the correct logs now. So which recording stopped early, and what times was it due to run to and from?

Zip and attach the logs and the details of the show and I'll take a look.

No, I missed it.

Your logs dont go back that far, so I cant look into those two.

According to the logs, this recording seems to have gone fine. It started at 8:58 and stopped at 10:02.

When you watch this file, how long does it report the recording to be? If you leave it playing, will it play past the reported duration? This can happen with the PVR150 timestamp bug - the duration is reported incorrectly even though the entire recording is present.

How big is the file?

Sub,

I cannot verify Eureka's file size as it was deleted too quickly. But, both Stargate shows file sizes were smaller than normal and correlated to the shorter recording times shown when played back. I believe this is the case with the Eureka recording as well. I watched all 3 recordings and was startled when they reached the end prematurely, stopped, and GBPVR displayed the What's new category. Have you any ideas what is happening? Should I upgrade to the new version of GBPVR? If you do not, I will make sure I save everything on the next occurrence.

Thanks,
Jullian
