They have changed the filter properties so it should now be added in bda.ini to
[Nebula PCI BDA DVB-T (102)]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=Nebula DigiTV PCI BDA Tuner Filter
FILTER_CAPTURE=Nebula DigiTV PCI BDA Capture Filter
PIN_TUNER_IN=Antenna In
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=Input0
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

The difference being the PCI bit has been added

I don't have a usb version of this but as they have released the Beta version for usb I'm guessing they have changed the PCI to USB but someone will have to confirm this.

PIN_TUNER_IN=Antenna In
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=Input0
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

Hi Sub,

Not that I've managed to get my DigiTV USB up and running with GB-PVR (but would like to do so) The lines that I've entered into bda.ini are as follows (please correct me if I am wrong).

The filter tuner and filter capture names are the one's that were identified using GraphEdit.

[DigiTV USB]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=Nebula DigiTV USB BDA Filter
FILTER_CAPTURE=Nebula DigiTV USB BDA Filter
PIN_TUNER_IN=Antenna In
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=Input0
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

The following has also been tried as I'm not sure whether or not the remaining lines are correct (Pin_Capture has been changed only)....

[DigiTV USB]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=Nebula DigiTV USB BDA Filter
FILTER_CAPTURE=Nebula DigiTV USB BDA Filter
PIN_TUNER_IN=Antenna In
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

No channels are found using GB-PVR. Am using Cyberlink Mux. There are two entries showing under MuxChecker which is a little confusing. Do I need to unregister one of them?.

Any suggestions as to how I can get channels detected using the Nebula BDA USB drivers would be appreciated.

Thank you :-).

Try doing a channel scan then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

If you look at bda.ini you'll notice most of the USB devices use a slightly different format, since they have a single receiver filter instead of separate tuner/capture filters. I'm guessing this is what you Nebula section needs to be based on (this is also mentioned on the wiki).

[Nebula DigiTV USB]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Nebula DigiTV USB BDA Filter
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

If that doesnt work, run the filtercheck utility, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log it produces: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6

Hi Sub,

Thank you for your reply. I'd not noticed that there was a slightly different format for USB DVB-T Receiver devices as the entries for a Freecom USB DVB-T Receiver was listed similarly from what I'd understood.
Whilst you're probably offering a helpful suggestion to read the Wiki there is an awful lot to take in for newbies IMHO therefore missing something like this is easily done.

Shall amend bda.ini as you've suggested and post findings on this thread.

Thank you.

Hi Sub,

The bda.ini entry that you'd suggested for a Nebula NigiTV USB has worked (channels found).
Was beginning to think that I'd wasted a considerable amount of hard earn't cash buying a Nebula
DVB-T Receiver as would not work with GB-PVR.

Thank you Smile.

Kind Regards.

Hi Sub, Whilst the GB-PVR PC that I've put together isn't permanently put together so to speak I've got so say that (although my experience of using GB-PVR is extremely limited) this really is a whole lot better than any other PVR package that I've tried and that's including manufacturer bundled software/applications. Need to get a second tuner added prior to deciding whether or not to rely on GB-PVR as opposed to a stand-alone PVR. Am hoping that the latter won't be necessary as I really cannot afford to buy a stand-alone PVR nor want to buy one to be honest since trying out GB-PVR.
Keep up the good work Smile.
