I have an ATI RADEON 9550 hooked up to a Sony WEGA 36" SDTV through S-Video. I am running the latest Omega Drivers. I have my resolution set for 720x480 60Hz, and have "Video Mode" enabled so it overscans the video. Due to this I had to adjust the overscan values in the config.xml file for GBPVR since the menus and OSD's were extending off the screen. I have a couple "issues" with the display. Along the edges are wavy (the main menu buttons are not vertically straight, they are wavy along the edge), and also the text on the outer parts of the picture are not crisp or clear, more blurry. In the center of the picture the text looks good, just on the outer edges. If I view the main menu screen over VNC it looks very crisp, so I know its something with the TV out settings. Also, while watching tv (or recorded programs), if there is small fine white print (like the fine print in commercials at the bottom of the screen), the text is blurry and has a slight flicker to it. As the text is faded out, the letters become readable and crisp. I am still learning about video stuff and all the settings, so I am sure its just a matter of tweaking some levels, but I don't know which ones would affect that. Can anyone point me in the right direction to help clear this up? Thanks.
