Hi

I haven't been around here in a while, but I came back to ask a question.

I returned my old hauppauge card because it wasn't working correctly, and I am about to buy two Theater 550's (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814127987). Will I be able to use just one remote for both of them? Like, if I am watching a show on tuner card 1 and the remote is plugged into tuner card 2, will I be able to change channels on tuner card 1 with the remote plugged into tuner card 2?

EDIT: I had to fix the url.

The remote that comes with that specific card isnt recommended. If you use the forum search, you'll find a few complaints about the MSI 550 Pro remote.

Other ATI 550 Pro cards fair better (ATI, Sapphire models etc).

Well, maybe if I bought a sapphire card with a remote? They are a lot cheaper and it would save me some money. I don't know how well the video quality is though. I just want to be able to use only 1 remote for both tuners. Is that possible? Thanks for helping out sub.

The sapphire one should be fine. Performance wise, its identical to the MSI card.
