Theater Listing & ContourHC

Hey

I was wondering how to get Theater Listing 6.6 working with the contourHC skin. The wiki says its supported so I think something changed in 6.6. I tried mediacenterG and that had the same error. It worked with blue though.

This is the error:
ERROR: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

A lot changed in 6.6, which would probably render most skins inoperable on that plugin until they have been updated. You can try to copy the skin.xml file from Blue over to the skin you want and see if that works. If not, the skin author will need to update the skin.

Thanks for helping out on that one. Skinning is one of my very very weak points! I just hope people don't get too frustrated with the plugin and the skins breaking, because pretty much everyone that hasn't been updated for 6.6 will not work.

Well if you feel something is not the way you want, you can always made some edits to the skin file. I took a quick look at the contourHC skin with theater and the main listview (theater names and move names) buttons do look a bit odd, but since I am not a skinner, I wouldn't really have much advice on how to make it look better other than moving things around and changing some sizes and colors. If you have any questions on what any of the elements in the skin file do, let me know.

I used the exsisting theater skin in Contour and modified it with the new stuff. The "look" should have been the same as the original version of the skin.

I'll look at it and see what can be done to "pretty it up".

You forgot to add the PopupBox CompositeImage for when it does a refresh. I installed the CountourHC skin to see what he was talking about and when you do a refresh it only displays a red X. I also widened the listview elements to fill the background rectangle to see how that looks too.

Yeah, I noticed the popup thing on my other computer at home since it needed a refresh.

The original skin had "400" for the width of some items and "500" for the others. When I did the quick conversion, I changed both to be 400. This fix is more appropriate.

I also tweaked the colors of the selectors to be more like the buttons in appearance without making them look just like the buttons.
