Greetings!
I use XMLTV to grab French TV programs.
These program names often contain accented characters that pose problems when creating directories and files for the recordings.
I noticed that apostrophes are already removed, which means that GB-PVR already includes a function that strips some "illegal" characters. Could this function be extended to all non-basic characters?
My other option would be to do this within the XML guide before it is read by GBPVR, but then the names would be stripped even within the TV guide, which is not necessary. Well, if I have to go this way, does anybody know of a simple commandline tool that would allow me to do this?
Thanks!
