Object Reference not set

I'm getting an error "Object Reference not set to an instance of an object". It happens when I stop playback on a recording, or when I try to play music out of any of the music players. I searched and did not see anything that looked simular to my situation.

There was one note that said it was a common .net message so to attach logs so here they are. I ran a repair on .net 2.0 and it didn't seem to help.

This started occuring right after I tried to upgrade to 97.13. I tried twice and gave up, for whatever reason it just wouldn't work, after hours of fiddling. The cpu would spike to 100% and I'd get the windows error submission form in a loop I couldn't exit with out exiting gpvr. I restored back to 96.8 and these errors started although recording and actual playback work fine.

I run xp home, sp2, .net 2.0.

Mhm, i don't know if this helps:
Do you have a Hauppauge! MVP? You're logs are talking about communications with this one. Further the produced errors say something about the MyPicturesPlugin.

I removed the my picture plug in so that shouldn't it. I have a haup MVP and USB-PVR

Thx Shining, I just checked and if it helps I'm not able to connect to shoutcast either.

Thx David I removed that dll as mentioned in the known bugs but it didn't help.

Can you supply your logs again then. The MyPicturePlugin.DLL was definitely causing the error in the last set of logs you supplied.

was just posting... On a hunch I emptied the trash bin and wouldn't you know it the error is gone. So for those that stumble accross this thread in the future the solution was deleting the mypictures.dll file and then empting the trash, just deleting it didn't fix it. Who wuda thunk...
