On my new setup I have done not too many recordings yet. Twice, the recording service has died on me. I can't find anything in the logs that indicate what is wrong. Maybe you can, sub?

At 20:00 today, two recordings were scheduled to start (Idol 2006 and Gilmore Girls). I got a 0Kb file for Idol 2006, and no file at all for Gilmore Girls. And the old "see, the old computer never did this, was it really necessary to buy this new one?" from the wife Wink

Is there any message in the Windows Event Viewer about why the recording service died?

No, its most likely he'd need to switch to a different mux, or at least a different version.

Yeah, I tried switching to the one I thought I used all the time (the same as the last computer used; it turned out that on my new computer I had installed some cyberlink software that installed another one that was used instead) I have set a bunch of test recordings to occur on the dvb-t device now. It should work... I'll keep my fingers crossed Smile
