I'm sure it was discussed before... I even found a post from Sub saying "all times are shown using the machine's short date format".

I want to have the 22:00 time style, not the 10:00pm.

I changed the Regional Settings in Control Panel. GB insists on having the am/pm format. I even rebooted...

What am I missing?

Its the machine settings as opposed to your user account settings. From memory, there is some extra check box you need to tick in the regional settings so that it applies to the machine/default user account.

Yeah, I imagine so. I've never had to use it myself, but I have read about this when I researched the .net datetime string formats in past.

Well, it could be a local problem with my machine, but it doesn't seem to change anything.
Can I control somewhere which user it uses to take this? can I override this format somewhere in the config.xml?

No, its not a GB-PVR thing. It just use the default machine date time string representations, as supplied by .NET. I'm fairly sure I've read you can change it in your regional settings, with whatever checkbox. If not, it maybe something in your .NET machine.config file.
