Could someone please explain the pc client stuff, what it is, what it does, why you would use it?

Also.

I can't get to the menu bar, eg try seaching for somthing. (the ads over the top)

Say you have your main GBPVR computer in one location (say your living room). Then you could use another computer in your bedroom, watching the recordings from there. I haven't tried it yet, but I assume you could also schedule recordings and such from your bedroom that way.

Using opera 8? I had that problem with opera 8. You can try right clicking the menu item and choose "open in new tab" if you need it. Or upgrade to opera 9

For example I have 3 computers. The one in my sitting room has my TV card in it and runs GBPVR. I can then install GBPVR on the other 2 computers as "clients". This means that they use the sitting room computer as a server.

I can do everything on the client computers that I can on the main computer. I can schedule recordings, watch shows I have previously recorded, listen to music, picture slideshow etc etc.

You install the plugins on each computer that you want and they can have different config.xml files.
