Failed Recordings won't delete

Hi All!

I recently recorded a show called "Psych" and I got a message "recording Failed".

Fine. No problem. I double click on that and it gives me two options - "Exit" or "Delete". I choose "Delete". It doesn't delete.

I manually deleted the shows and the directory from the record directory and rebooted - doesn't delete.

I did a file search through gbpvr and found the show listed in "recording-dump.xml". I know how to edit XML files - I write code for a living. So I carefully deleted the node for that show from <recording> to </recording>. Re-started the service. Rebooted.

It doesn't delete.

In the log files all I find is this:

WHERE IN THE SAM HILL ARE YOU HIDING THIS INFORMATION SO THAT I CAN PURGE IT?

I even searched the registry - not there.

Totally mystified.

Are you running 97.13? If so it is a known issue with a patch available:

Thanks a bunch - that fixed it! I thought I was on the "latest and greatest" version but I guess I'm always one fix behind... 8)
