Hi

I installed GBPVR and setup XMLTV and all went very smoothly. Then I realised I hadnt setup the correct timezone in XP, so I correctly set it to GMT. The XML file generated from Radio Times in the UK appears correct with all the correct program times.
When I load GBPVR the program guide show the correct current time, but all programs are out by several hours even though they are listed correctly in the XML?

Any help would be greatly appreciated:confused:

Did you empty the EPG and "reload" it after you changed the timezone?
I'm not always right

Hi

Nope, I just reloaded it?

But the actual XML shows the correct timings ?

Thanks

you will have to empty the epg from the edit capture sources dialouge, or wait for a normal epg update. not sure exactly how gbpvr handles scheduled programs when you empty the epg, or how it handles the epg update... yeah I will search the forums.

but logically since you have to do a complete reload for shows that are already in the epg to get changed, it seems that when you normally update the epg it just appends on to the end of whatever it had before. so to change the epg at a time it already has data you have to drop the entire epg then reload the whole thing.
