I wish there was a way to not automatically skip the final commercial segment if it extends through the end of the recording. Often things such as "scenes from the next episode" or the credits are in this flagged commercial block and then there is no way to view them other than disable automatic commercial skip.

This will remove the last commercial break from the auto-skip list, and only of it "extends through the end of the recording".
Both comskip & this utility run in (the included) parallelprocessing.bat, so disable commercial detection (not commercial skipping) in the gbpvr config utility.
Extract to your GBPVR folder.
rlbond.log will log what it does, and doesn’t do...

Here's and example log.
Code:
Modern Marvels - Shotguns.txt
109562 >> Total Video Frames
109562 >> Last Commercial Frame.
Removing the last commercial break from the Auto-Skip list.

Modern Marvels - Shotguns.txt
109562 >> Total Video Frames
107814 >> Last Commercial Frame.
This video does not end during a commercial Auto-Skip.

yea, my v98.8 upgrade went so smoothly I was getting bored! Wink

I thought there was a comskip option to not mark this situation as a commercial?

That's what I was thinking when I first read the post, but I believe he wants to watch the entire last commercial block. At any rate, if it isn’t needed (and it isn’t by me) it was just a fun 30min project.
I expected to be struggling with an upgrade this weekend, but you made it too darn easy. Big Grin

Code:
delete_show_after_last_commercial=0    ; set to 1 if you want to delete the last block if its a show and after a commercial
delete_show_before_or_after_current=0    ; set to 1 if you want to delete the previous and the next show in the recording, this can lead to the deletion of trailers of next show

ooh... qbasic. classy. So since this runs in parallel processing, does that mean that it will run comskip while the recording is being done?

Thanks

Yes, it will process while recording so you shouldn’t notice any change at all.
<edit> Rename the file to PostProcessing.bat, if you want it processed after recording.<end edit>
Qbasic… I just hate change. Wink Big Grin
