Sub,

I got another one of these tonight. The wife was adjusting the volume with the remote (MCE 2005 version, no color buttons, not using HIP or Girder, using the native MCE remote support), and the GUI just closed with no error messages on the screen, no error logs in the event viewer, only message is in the gbvr.exe.log. In the log file, it has the exact same line immediately preceding that references MyVideos:

Code:
9/18/2006 6:14:50 PM.606    VERBOSE    [1]    MyVideosPlugin.Database.Directories.SaveDataset()

I will remove the plugin and let it run for a while and see if the same error occurs. Just wanted to post this (seeing as how this error message seems so elusive to pinpoint the cause) since it does seem related to the MyVideo plugin, and I will also let Reven know.

Here is the error message in the logs:

Code:
9/18/2006 6:14:50 PM.856    ERROR    [1]    System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

Hope this info can help someone else as well Smile
