Hi. I've seen several people talking about this in the past few days so I thought that I would post what I did to extend the cable.
I bought stereo speaker wire from Walmart. I cut the blaster cable in the middle and cut a 15-foot section off of the spool of stereo speaker wire. I made sure to connect the lines correctly (made sure that I didn't switch what line was connected to what side). I connected everything and taped it up and it works like a champ. It wasn't really that hard at all. It's not necessary to buy expensive cables (I used the lowest grade available at Walmart).
