Closed Caption Support

Hello
Does GBPVR support closed captions in both viewing, recording. I plan on usng the Hauppauge PVR250 card. I am located in Canada. Thanks

No, not really. I'm not in a country that uses the US/Canada Close Caption system, so its not really something that I've spent any time adding support for.

There is some minimal closed caption support that can work with the PVR250, but its pretty basic. If you enable the 'show closed captions' option on the misc tab of the config app, and use VRM9 and the Intervideo NonCSS decoder, then close caption information will be shown when playing back recordings.
