MSI MegaSky 580 Remote Support?

Hi, first i'd like to that the developer for creating this fine piece of software

I bought recently MSI MegaSky 580 and i'd like to use GB-PVR with my stick but it doesn't seem to support this remote control. It seems to recognize some commands in Hauppage-mode (channel up/down) but is it possible to get it to work properly?
Is there a plugin? Can i edit some configuration file manually to make it work?

Is it possible to put MSI remote support to roadmap? Do you need keycodes or something, can i help with that?

Sorry, but its unlikely I'll ever include native support for this remote in GB-PVR. You best hope is that it comes with some config files (or app) for configuring which keystrokes are sent to the current application for each button. This is the way quite a few remotes work (like the Hauppauges ones etc), which makes it pretty easy for configuring it for use with GB-PVR.

If you do get it going, post the details here so that others can benefit from it in the future.

Having the same card, I would also like to see GBPVR supporting the remote control. Only today did I notice there is a Remote App in the installation folders - would this be of any use? I will try to run it standalone later and see what happens - got bigger problems at the moment.
