Thanks guys,

I downloaded the 3.2.24125b software from Hauppauge, stopped gbpvr, installed it, changed to SVideo in Configuration, stopped the Hauppauge services, restarted gbpvr and it worked great.

When not using the projector it is connected via an SVideo enabled Scart to my TV but I was only getting Composite Video before so that is an improvement as well.

I did notice some additional entries in the gbpvr config file with the tag <MVPSpecificSettings> that looks like Sub is experimenting with bringing this functionality into gbpvr which would be a good idea.

I need to enable SVideo out on one of my MVPs which has the Scart connection as I wish to use it with a projector.

Can I do this within GBPVR or will I have to install the original Hauppauge software and stop the GBPVR services to change the configuration? If so will I also need to do this every time I disconnect the power?

I don't suppose anyone ever figured out if they could get a Component Video output instead of RGB which would be even better!

I think you'll find that you will need to stop gbpvr recording service, start up the Hauppauge stuff and do it from there. You won't need to do this everytime you power off, it does keep the setting.

AfurAnt - I use a set-up similar to yours to power my projector and have no issues.

The only problem I have found is that I can not go back to a native SCART output on a normal telly - I haven't invested too much time in investigating this though
