I'm doing some reorganizing on my system. I'm wanting to move all of my EXISTING TV recordings to a second hard drive and then change the path to which NEW TV Recordings will go to this same new hard drive location.

Is there any trick to moving my current recordings to still keep them VISIBLE and WATCHABLE in GBPVR? Or is it as easy as cut and paste in Windows Explorer and updating my Recordings directory in the GB-PVR Config?

Thanks in advance for the input!

What I did was run Export Recordings from the 'Plugins' tab of the config app, did a find and replace in the resulting file, replacing F:\ with G:\. (where F was the old drive and G the new one)

Copied the files accross to the new drive

I than ran Import Recordings (again in config)

Yes. I used exactly the same procedure when I upgraded my GBPVR HTPC.

You can use the Video Archive plug-in and select the programs that you want to move and it will do everything for you.
