After some fiddling, I've finally got my KWorld ATSC-110 recording pretty well. When I record a standard-def digital channel, the audo and picture are both okay, but when I try to record a high-def channel, the audio is always very out of sync, although the picture is beautiful (minimal stutters, great quality, etc.). Note that the CPU load when recording is very low, and it doesn't make a difference whether I'm doing other things on the PC or not (I've tried both, same results).

My machine doesn't seem to be up to snuff for actually watching HD live (though I can watch standard-def live) so I can't compare the two very well, but from what I can tell, the sound is also out of sync on the HD channels live.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

My PC looks about like follows:
Athlon XP 2700+ (2.15 GHZ)
1 GB RAM
Radeon x800 XT
Kworld ATSC-110

Any sync issues will most likely be related to the mux filter you're using. It could also be affected by the video decoder you're using though.

Thanks, I just installed the cyberlink muxer (I was using the DVR-MS one previously) and will be trying it here in a minute.

Any idea whether this muxer works actually with my card?

The DVR-MS usually works best with ATSC, but try some other muxes and/or video decoders.

I tried with the cyberlink, but it was so choppy that I really couldn't tell. I'm not sure if this is a signal problem or a computer problem though. I'm going to try again, but I'll likely just record in standard def until I can get a better antenna situation.
