I was wondering if I can change the padding of recordings that I've scheduled? Perhaps this is a 3-part question:

  1. I have scheduled to record some of the USA baseball games. I used the EWA to find them, but when I selected them to record, there was no option to change the padding, and sometimes these games go to extra innings, so I wanted to pad them all with about 60 extra minutes at the end. Can I do that after they've been scheduled or do I need to cancel the recordings and schedule them through the GBPVR interface?

  2. Can I add padding when recording through EWA? I don't see an option.

  3. When I change the padding in the GBPVR Config, when does that take place - for all shows that are to record in the future or only ones that I schedule
from there on out. Or does is not change anything?

Finally, GBPVR RULES! Thanks! When I get comfortable, perhaps I can write a web pluggin to add padding to selected recordings or ones based on themes (sports, for example). But that's not happening in the short term!

You can change the padding of scheduled recordings using the video archive plug-in.

Video Archive certainly helps, thanks for pointing that out to me. Using the keyboard, am I limitted to 0-9 in the padding and not double digits?

Can the post padding be altered via the web?

And again, what effect does changing the settings on the GBPVR Config have on scheduled or future scheduled recordings?

Jeff, by the way, SOME of my recordings that are available show 0 bytes in the video archive. Do you know why that is? Is it something to do with the GBPVR config Processing tab where I selected Update database to point to converted file?

Thanks,
Dave
