Allo,
Would really love GBPVR not to use timeshift tv mode on at least the server! Dunno if it happens on all configs i.e. not client/server mode 0.98.08b. But the advantage of having a live stream if only for quality purposes would be great (teletext and the interactive services being the others i can think of)!

Also when watching live tv, when the show ends according to the epg then the channel stops playing, anyway to make it carry on playing the channel regardless?

Also some way of controlling the timeshift record quality would be good!

Thanks!

The server can use live preview, but the client will permanently be in timeshift mode.

Personally I dont think there is much demand for it, but MHEG-5 support might be added in the future since they intend to start using it here in New Zealand at the beginning of next year.

I'd have to disagree, at least here in the UK where we have interactive services. Esp when people are using Gb-PVR as their main TV (like me)! Might be wrong tho! Can we start a poll, just to see? Think you might be suprised if there's lots of UK users here. Smile

PS: I really need it so the gf can watch all of the snooker matches (you can only watch some thru interactive over here) I get moaned at....

As I said above, you may get it in a future release, but it wont be until sometime next year after they start transmitting it here.
