I got keen today and decided to move the forums to the new dedicated web server. In the process I also updated to the new v3.6.2 version of vBulletin.

I used a backup of the database from this morning to do this server migration, so I appologize for the missing posts for the period between the backup and the forums moving to the new server. The posts made in these few hours will be missing. Feel free to post the questions again Big Grin

If you notice any problems let me know.

Sorry the slow turn around for getting the server back up and running. I was having some weird posting problem going on that I couldnt resolve. I decided to sleep on it, and sure enough the answer came straight to me this morning.

Yeah,.... I'm a bit of early riser. I usually like to sleep to 5:00 - 5:30, but I was having dreams about web servers, so I had to get up and fix it. I like to get up early to have a clear run at reading my emails and overnight forum posts before kids get up and I'm on breakfast duty.

Oh... while remember, Internet Explorer users should now be able to reenable HTTP 1.1 extensions in their browser setting. This should give a wee performance boost when browsing. On the old server IE users were having problems downloading zip file attachments when HTTP 1.1 extensions were enabled.

the new multiquote in vbulliten is really nice!! it will make replying to 4 posts easy instead of being a exercise in copy-paste and clicking the back button
