when using some skins there are two cross red lines on top and botton of the screen. any way to fix that?

This typically means the skin you're using is missing a picture. Its probably because the skin doesnt support one of your plugins.
Which skin and which screen exactly?

the skins that occurs that are the one from the advisor theme pack, and the only screen that is ok is the main menu.

That skin is probably out of date, and doesnt work with the current GB-PVR release.

Advisor is a beautiful theme. But how to remove those ugly red X's ?
In the files skin.xml you see "DrawCompositeImage". I've no idea what this command means. But when you remark these lines with <!-- and --> then the red cross disappear. Apply these changes in the folders system, recordings, video library 2, search, photo library, tv guide and music library 2. [COLOR="Navy"][SIZE="1"]Year 1: Mini-ITX, 5 litre case, power < 50 Watt. It appears that the compositeImags items named ScreenHeader and RemoteHelp have not been defined, so when they are called for display in DrawCompositeImage they can not be found

The advisor 2.8 skin is out of date with many of the themes.
Those composite images are being looked for in the baseskin.xml file, which many of the themes do not have in them. The original Advisor 2.8 baseskin had those composite images in them, so you could copy and paste them to the specific theme's baseskin.xml file.

I added the fallowing lines to my Baseskin.xml file in the Advisor directory and it has eliminated the red "x" on the top and bottom of sub directories. They are placed in the <CompositeImages> section.
<CompositeImage name="ScreenHeader" size="135,38"> <DrawImage filename="..\Title_Bar.png" loc="0,0" size="130,35" /> </CompositeImage> <CompositeImage name="RemoteHelp" size="135,38"> <DrawImage filename="..\Title_Bar.png" loc="0,0" size="130,35" /> </CompositeImage> If you change the skin you will need to add these lines again. |
