Weather Sleet Icon missing

Hey

i miss the sleet icon for german weather. The Text have i set. The Icon is generated and no icon is show for this??

What can i do?

Can you post your gbpvr.exe.log file the next time this happens? It should have an error message generated by the weather plug-in saying what the forecast text was for which no icon could be found.

I can add sleet to the mapping. Should it map to the same icon as snow flurries or snow showers?

Maybe add an icon for sleet, but you can re-use the image of one of the ones you named above?

sounds like that user configurable file for forecasts and icons would fix this problem then if the forecast is not already in the file the user can just add it

That is what I plan to move to. Right now the plug-in has a mapping hard coded of text strings that map to icons. May strings map to the same icon (e.g Snow, Light Snow, Morning Snow, Snow Showers, etc. all use the snow icon). The code also guesses so that if new combinations are found (e.g. "Late snow") that are not in the lookup table it will try to dissect the forecast and see if there is an icon for "Late" or "Snow" and use that icon if found. Over time I plan to move to an XML configuration file so users can add new icons and new forecast mappings, including mappings in foreign languages.
