Liveview mini walker issue.

Hi, everyone.

If I run my mini walker in the live preview mode, the motion is so slow. So I run it in the time-shifting mode, everything is fine, but when I change the TV channel, it doesn't work, it just only shift to the head of the video, but doesn't change the channel.
Could you tell me why? and how to fix it?

From memory, this device never really worked with live preview mode. I'm not sure why.

If you search for posts authored by me and concerning Lifeview or TVWalker (note "f") you'll see that I tried and tried, but eventually had to give up on this device (USB 2.0 version).

Sorry about this news, and please don't let that stop you from trying! I ended up going with a Hauppauge PVR-150. The Lifeview TV Walker mini USB is in the drawer. It simply wasn't worth the effort in the end, although others have had varied success (KingArgyle for one).

Live Preview doesn't work well, if at all with GBPVR (it did at one time but something broke it a long time ago). Also, MPEG 2 recording doesn't work, but AVI/DIVX recording does work. Since, I don't use GBPVR for Live Preview, and only record in AVI format, it works well just as a PVR device for myself. With that said, I wouldn't waste a lot of time trying to get it to work, Sub has a larger base with the other PVRs and that is where he concentrates his efforts.

Plus, he didn't get much support from Lifeview in getting the device working. It's too bad as it had some potential to be a good general purpose device.

You might be able to get it working with the External Recorder plugin, and control the application that comes with the Lifeview.

After many days trying, I have success to use GraphEdit to make my TV walker mini watch live TV and record it to divx with the same time, and No slow motion and any delay happened. Can we use this information to improve the quality of walker mini in gbpvr ?

To be honest, I'm probably never going to dust of this device to improve support for it. There is such a tiny number of GB-PVR users that own this device, that its no longer worth the effort of supporting it - sorry.

I'm sorry, I really don't understand exactly what you mean with this :confused:
