Hi All,
Hope you can help.... Here's the situation. I am using the IR Blaster that came in my PVR150 MCE Kit. With a lot of help from someone on the forum, I got the computer to recognize it, and while it is communicating with my DISH Network (311) box, I don't get a very reliable channel change, and I am missing out on recorded shows. The IR blaster is sending the right channel info, but for example if I wanted channel 419, I end up recording channel 9, or channel 19 etc.... I'm just guessing, but it's like the IR Blaster is moving too fast for the DISH box. Is there a way of delaying the signals going from the IR Blaster to the DISH box, ie. 4 (*pause*) 1 (*pause*) 9 (*pause*), Enter. Another related problem, is that if I watch LiveTV by selecting a channel from the guide, more often than not, no signal is sent to the box to change the channel. However, if I then exit LiveTV, go back into the guide and select that same channel, it then changes to the correct channel. Almost like I had to prime, or warmup the IR blaster....
Has anyone else run into either of these problems using their IR Blaster.
I am desparate for help. The wife has missed a ton of her shows, and she's not happy (which inevitably means I'm not happy!!).
Thanks a ton.
