Sub,
I am currently running Version 0.97.13 and was wanting to upgrade to the latest version. Will GB-PVR install over my current install or should I uninstall the old version 1st?

By the way what is the lastest version and is there any new features that I should see. I read somewhere that there is now a volume overlay.

Thank
Orbital

My configuration:
GB-PVR: Version 1.0.8
CPU: AMD Athlon 2800+ Barton
RAM: 1 Gig Kingston (DDR)
Video Card: Geforce FX 5200 (128 DDR)
TV Tuner: SAPPHIRE Theater 550 PRO
HD: Two Maxtor 80 Gig (7200 RPM)

Yes, it'll automatically upgrade when you install over the top. I do recommend you backup your config.xml and database in case of problems though.

Thanks, I agree that backing these up would be a good idea incase something did happen. I found the Config.xml file but when you say data base what folder or file or you referring to. Thanks

That would be the gbpvr.mdb (access-database) or gbpvr.db3 (sqllite-database. Depends on if you already did convert from access to sql database. Good luck.Smile

Edit: remember: you can only use the backups with the gbpvr-install version it was made under.
